Our Budget, Silver, Gold and Black policies include cover for trips within the UK.
If you are travelling within your home country, you must have pre-booked accommodation for the policy to be valid. Your home country is England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland if you live there, or the Isle of Man or Channel Islands if you live on those islands.
Emergency medical cover
Emergency medical cover does not apply to most trips within the UK. It applies to:
- trips outside the United Kingdom;
- residents of the Channel Islands or Isle of Man visiting other parts of the United Kingdom;
- residents of other parts of the United Kingdom visiting the Channel Islands or Isle of Man; and
- participation in a cruise solely within the United Kingdom.
