What is travel insurance?

Travel insurance covers certain unexpected costs before or during your holiday, subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions of your policy.

Our Budget, Silver, Gold and Black policies include cover for things such as:

Cancelling your holiday:

Cancellation cover applies for certain insured reasons, including illness or injury, where cancelling your trip is necessary and unavoidable.

Lost or damaged baggage:

Personal Property cover includes loss, theft, damage or destruction of your baggage and personal belongings, subject to the policy limits and conditions.

Emergency medical treatment:

Medical emergency cover includes necessary treatment if you become ill or are injured while abroad.

Returning home for medical reasons:

Medical emergency cover also includes repatriation where the policy conditions are met.

The amount of cover and the excesses that apply depend on your plan. Policy conditions and exclusions also apply.

This information is for general guidance and does not constitute medical advice.
