Conditions for riding a motorbike
To be covered while motorcycling:
- the rider must hold the equivalent appropriate UK licence that is deemed valid in the country you are travelling to.
- you must not be racing
- you must not be riding off-road
- you must wear appropriate safety equipment, clothing and headgear
- you must take the necessary safety precautions for motorcycling
Motorbikes over 125cc
If the motorbike is over 125cc, you need Extreme Sports & Activities cover.
This is optional cover and requires an additional premium. It must be shown on your policy schedule.
Motorcycling over 125cc has a £100 medical excess, and Personal Accident and Personal Liability cover do not apply while taking part in the activity.
