Yes. If you have taken prescribed medication in the last two years, you need to tell us about the medical condition the medication is for.
What medication information do I need to provide?
This article explains what medication information we need during medical screening and what to do if your medication changes.
What information do I need to provide?
When completing medical screening:
- tell us the name of the diagnosed medical condition you have taken prescribed medication for in the last two years
- we may ask how many medications you take for that condition
- you do not usually need to give us the names of the medications
- you do not usually need to give us the name of a medical procedure
You should still be familiar with the medication you take, or have taken, so you can answer the medical screening questions fully and accurately.
What if I am adding a new medical condition?
If you need to add a new condition to your policy, we will need the name of the diagnosed medical condition.
If you do not know the condition name, do not guess. Check with your GP or another medical professional before updating your medical information.
What if my medication changes?
You must tell us and consult your medical practitioner if your medication is changed or amended after you buy your policy.
Medical screening helps us understand your individual medical circumstances and how they may affect your travel insurance.
Speak to an adviser if you are unsure what medication information or medical condition you need to declare.
Eligibility, terms and exclusions apply. Please refer to your policy documents for full details.
