What if my health changes?

If your health, medical condition or medication changes after you buy your policy, you must tell us as soon as possible and before you travel.

What this article helps you do

This article explains which health changes you need to tell us about and how to update your policy before your trip.

What changes do I need to tell you about?

You must tell us and consult your medical practitioner if you or anyone covered by the policy:

  • develops a new medical condition
  • receives a new diagnosis
  • experiences a change to an existing medical condition
  • has a change in medication

Keeping your medical information up to date helps make sure your policy reflects your current circumstances before departure. We may need to amend your policy after you tell us about a change.
