Our travel insurance is available to UK residents who are in the UK when they buy the policy, for trips that start and end in the UK.
Who is considered a UK resident?
You are considered a UK resident if you meet all of the following requirements:
- Have lived in the UK for at least 6 of the last 12 months
- Have a permanent UK address
- Are registered with a UK General Practitioner (GP)
For this policy, the UK includes:
- England
- Scotland
- Wales
- Northern Ireland
- The Isle of Man
- The Channel Islands
What if I have a terminal illness?
If you or anyone you want to insure has been told they have a terminal illness, please let us know when you complete the medical health declaration.
A terminal prognosis does not always mean we cannot offer cover. We may still be able to help if:
- Your GP or medical practitioner confirms that your prognosis is at least six months from your return date
- You are fit to travel
