When does cancellation cover start?
The start of your cancellation cover depends on the type of policy you have.
Single Trip policy
Cancellation cover starts:
- As soon as you have paid the premium, or
- From the commencement date when your policy wording is issued
Annual Multi-Trip policy
Cancellation cover starts on the later of:
- The date you book your trip, or
- The policy start date shown on your Policy Schedule
If you choose a future start date for your Annual Multi-Trip policy, your cancellation cover will not begin until that date, even if you have already booked your trip.
If your holiday is already booked, check the start date on your policy carefully so you know when your cancellation cover begins.
