If you have an Annual Multi-Trip policy, it will normally renew automatically unless you have opted out or we are unable to renew it.
How does automatic renewal work?
If your Annual Multi-Trip policy is set to renew automatically:
- it will renew when your current policy expires;
- we will use the payment details already held for your renewal premium; and
- you must still be a UK resident at the time of renewal.
We’ll send you a renewal reminder and renewal quote 30 days before your policy is due to expire.
Your renewal notice will confirm whether your policy is going to renew automatically.
If a renewal discount applies, it will already be included in the renewal price shown.
What if my policy cannot renew automatically?
If we are unable to complete your automatic renewal, we will contact you at least 21 days before your policy expires and explain what you need to do.
What if my details have changed?
Check your renewal notice carefully.
Tell us before renewal if anything has changed, including your personal details, payment details or medical information.
How do I opt out of automatic renewal?
You can opt out using the Automatic Renewal Opt-out Form.
To stop the upcoming automatic renewal, please let us know at least 5 days before your policy is due to expire.
What about Single Trip policies?
Single Trip policies do not renew.
Your Single Trip cover ends on the scheduled end date shown on your Policy Schedule, or earlier if you return to your home country before your planned return date.
