Only Annual Multi-Trip policies can renew automatically. Single Trip policies do not renew.
Annual Multi-Trip policies
Annual Multi-Trip policies are set to renew automatically unless you choose to opt out.
If your policy is due to renew automatically:
- renewal takes place at the policy expiry date;
- we use the payment details already provided for your renewal premium; and
- you must still be a UK resident at the time of renewal.
If we are unable to complete the automatic renewal, we will contact you at least 21 days before your policy is due to expire.
You can cancel your continuous payment authority and opt out of automatic renewal.
Single Trip policies
Single Trip policies do not automatically renew.
Your Single Trip cover ends on the scheduled end date shown on your Policy Schedule, or earlier if you return home before the planned end of your trip.
If you need cover for another trip, you will need a new policy.
