This article explains which destinations you can travel to if it has been included in your policy.
Make sure to check your policy schedule before travelling to make sure the correct country destination(s) is shown for your trip.

What are the Single Trip regions?
- Region 1 covers trips to, from and within the United Kingdom.
- Regions 2 and 3 cover Europe and specified additional destinations.
- Region 4 covers worldwide travel except the USA, Canada, the Caribbean, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico and China.
- Region 5 covers worldwide travel including the USA, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean.
- Region 6 covers worldwide travel except the USA, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean.
- Region 7 covers Australia and New Zealand only.
Region 1 – United Kingdom
Region 1 covers trips to, from and within the United Kingdom.
Region 2 – Europe
Region 2 covers trips to and from Europe, including the Republic of Ireland, countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea, Madeira and the Azores.
Destinations included within Region 3 are excluded from Region 2.
Region 3 – Europe plus additional destinations
Region 3 includes Regions 1 and 2, plus:
- Spain, including the Balearic Islands
- The Canary Islands
- Turkey
- Cyprus
- Malta
Region 4 – Worldwide with additional exclusions
Region 4 covers trips anywhere in the world except:
- USA
- Canada
- The Caribbean
- Hong Kong
- Singapore
- Mexico
- China
Region 5 – Worldwide including USA, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean
Region 5 covers trips anywhere in the world, including:
- USA
- Mexico
- Canada
- The Caribbean
Region 6 – Worldwide excluding USA, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean
Region 6 covers trips anywhere in the world except:
- USA
- Mexico
- Canada
- The Caribbean
Region 7 – Australia and New Zealand
Region 7 covers trips to Australia and New Zealand only.
Stopovers outside your selected region
If your outward or return flight requires a stopover in an area outside the region shown on your policy schedule, your Single Trip policy automatically covers you for up to 24 hours in the stopover area. This applies to both your outward and return journeys.
Cruise stopovers – Silver, Gold and Black
If you have a Silver, Gold or Black policy and your cruise requires a stopover outside the region shown on your policy schedule, you are also automatically covered for up to 24 hours in the stopover area on both your outward and return journeys.
A destination listed on your cruise itinerary is not considered a stopover.
