Can I claim on behalf of someone else who has a policy?

Yes. If the traveller is unable to make the claim themselves, you can submit a claim on their behalf as soon as possible.

How do I make the claim for them?

When completing the claim form:

  1. Enter the traveller’s policy and claim details.
  2. Enter your own details as the main contact for the claim.
  3. Provide any information and supporting documents requested by the claims team.

The policy says the insured person, or their legal representative, must provide the information and documents needed to assess a claim. If the claim relates to a medical condition, the insured traveller may also need to provide the information and documents needed to assess the claim.

For some claims, the insured traveller may also need to provide further information or evidence. This may include claims relating to a medical condition.
