If you regularly travel for work, an Annual Multi-Trip policy may be more suitable than arranging a new Single Trip policy for each business trip.
What this article helps you do
This article explains which type of travel insurance may suit you if you take one or several business trips during the year.
If your business trip is a one-off
A Single Trip policy covers one specified trip for the period shown on your Policy Schedule, subject to the terms and conditions of your policy.
If you take several business trips
An Annual Multi-Trip policy can cover multiple trips during the policy year, subject to the trip limits and other conditions shown on your policy.
This means you do not need to arrange a separate travel insurance policy each time you take another eligible trip.
What about Business Cover?
If you want additional protection for work-related items or expenses, check whether you need Business Cover for your trips.
Where Business Cover is added, the appropriate additional premium must be paid and the cover should be shown on your Policy Schedule.
Before you travel for business
Check that:
- you have chosen the right policy type for how often you expect to travel
- each business trip falls within the trip limits on your policy
- any additional Business Cover you need has been added
- your Policy Schedule reflects the cover you selected
