What this article helps you do

This article explains the additional benefits available when Business Cover is added to your travel insurance.

What can Business Cover include?

Business Cover can provide protection for:

  • Lost, stolen or damaged business equipment – helping with the cost of buying or hiring essential replacement equipment during your trip.
  • Delayed business equipment – helping with essential equipment you need if your business equipment is delayed or lost during your outward journey.
  • Emergency courier costs – covering qualifying courier expenses to get essential replacement business equipment to you.
  • Business money – providing protection if company money is lost or stolen. This can also include your own business money if you are self-employed.
  • Extra Personal Accident cover – providing an additional Personal Accident benefit where the Business Cover terms apply.
  • Extra baggage delay cover – providing an additional benefit if your baggage is delayed during your business trip.

Business equipment can include work-related items such as computer and communication equipment, subject to the terms, limits and exclusions of your policy.

Can I get Business Cover for one trip or several trips?

Yes. The Business Cover add-on can be used for both:

  • Single Trip policies if you are taking a one-off business trip
  • Annual Multi-Trip policies if you expect to take several eligible business trips during the year
